» Frank Billingsley has been appointed Orlando's director of economic development, replacing Tanja Gerhartz, who retired in July. Billingsley previously served as the department's deputy director and as executive director of the Downtown Development Board/ Community Redevelopment Agency.

» Philip Laurien has been named executive director of the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. He previously served in a similar position in Delaware County, Ohio.

» David Lowenberg has taken the helm at CuraScript, an Orlando distributor of pharmaceutical products and services. He replaces Dom Meffe.
